1J Antarctica Art Work with descriptive writing

In Year 1, we have been learning all about the polar regions. In Art, we used oil pastels to create our own scenes of Antarctica focusing on icy mountains and ice bergs. We then wrote a descriptive piece of writing describing the frosty scenes of Antarctica. Children typed up extracts of their work and then stuck it with their picture for you to have a look and enjoy!

Multi-Skills Festival

Some children in Year 1 were lucky enough to be invited to a multi-skills festival at Henry Cort School. We had lots of fun and joined in with different games and activities, some of which we had never played before. We even got to wear the new school kit!
